Inks

EGYPTIAN INK got its name from Napoleon, who brought back some shellac from his travels in Egypt. It was considered tasteful at the time to adopt Oriental fashions, which led to the name for these shellac-based inks. They are ideal for calligraphy and drawing, due to their semi-transparent nature and subtle tones.

WATERCOLOUR INKS are suitable for illustration and graphical techniques. They are transparent and very bright, and may be blended with each other to create a variety of tonalities.

PERMANENT INK is an acrylic ink suitable for airbrush techniques. Due to its brightness and opacity, it is also perfect for calligraphy and illustration work.
